Kenny Michaels

Kenny Michaels has been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. He has entertained audiences from 50 to 55,000. His warm persona and rich vocal styling's have thrilled audiences of all ages. If you hear him once, you will instantly know who is singing that song, with a voice that is so distinguishable it’s amazing.  Kenny started as a solo performer in 1982, expanded his talents in singing and playing multiple instruments in both local and touring bands, while still maintaining a solo career. Early in his career (1988) he received national recognition for his song “FLY ON!” which was deemed the official song of NASA’s Space Shuttle Discovery’s liftoff and America’s return to space after the Challenger disaster.

Kenny has delighted audiences in England, Scotland, France, the Bahamas, and here in his home state of Florida. While with the “Resouled” band, Kenny locally released two albums, and thrilled audiences with a high energy show of Motown, Cocker, Marvin Gaye and the like. His extensive repertoire creates a “please the people” attitude, and extends from the 1950’s to the 1990’s. He has entertained at Daytona International Speedway, (7 years), Walt Disney World (Orlando), Universal Studios (3 years, Finnegan’s, Mardi Gras), Cypress Gardens (2 years, Admirals Inn), just to name a few.

Kenny toured with Derek and the Slammers (1992-1995, US and abroad), doing corporate events from Boston to the Caribbean working for Journey Inc.

Kenny has also headlined his own solo tour of England, Scotland, and France (26 dates) in 1996-97.

Curtis Moore

 

A little about...........Curtis Moore

For the past thirty-six years, Curtis Moore has pleased audiences with his bass playing talents from Florida to California. Since settling in Brevard County, Florida, his dedication and passion for music has made him a key player in local band favorites such as “Sunday’s Children,” “Twice Moore,” and “The Farside.” While still in High School, Curtis and his band opened up for jazz legend, Buddy Rich and his orchestra. After graduation, he backed oldie acts, “Gary U.S. Bonds, “Johnny Tillotson,” and “Barbara Lewis,” to name a few. In recent years, his work with a top-notch convention band, allow opportunities to share the stage with many recording acts from Donna Summer to Diamond Rio. Every band wants a bass player who's experienced and versatile, that's Curtis Moore!



Don Fournier

 

Drummer Don Fournier, originally from Rhode Island, and now living in Florida started playing when he was eleven years old.
At eighteen started his recording career at Angus Recording Studios in Framingham, Massachusetts. Playing in numerous professional bands, which have opened for Roomful of Blues, Coco Taylor, Jerry Lee Lewis among others.
Don has worked with some of the most respected musicians in Brevard County, bringing his New England swing style of blues to the area.

His tasteful yet powerful, driving style is a perfect example of that professional attitude."Effective Simplicity".

Frank Hetzler
 Frank Hetzler  DRUMS

The Long Island, New York native had a music career with several U.S. Navy Fleet Bands before making Brevard County home in 2004.  Besides being a "house" drummer on Jam nights, Frank is the drum instructor at Brass & Reed Music in Merritt Island and performs non-stop with The Danny Morris Band.
